Our month in Southern California has begun.
Wendi & I are very familiar with the area.
In the early 80’s we explored coastal towns from Chula Vista to Oceanside
and were captivated by the laid back surfer hippie feel.
Well, those days are gone!
You could write a thesis on the sociological significance of the economic and cultural shift that has transformed Southern California in the last 30 years.
So, let’s just not go there.
Instead let’s listen close and see if we can still hear some Beach Music.
Hi Bruce, Wendi & Emma! Glad to hear that you guys are enjoying the New Year… As usual, very nice pics…Hang on…yes…I can hear the Beach Music!!! Staying tuned for more news and great pictures! Mike & the kids!
As usual the pics look great. We were looking for you on New Years weekend and forgot you were on this trip. Pat was lucky enough to make it to the coast. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Formed in 1961, brothers Brian Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Carl Wilson along with their cousin Mike Love and schoolmate Alan Jardine made beach music fifty years ago.
Hi!
Wonderful!
I want a beach house!
Hey Happy New Year to you and Wendi. Born and raised there and you are right…those days are gone. It doesn’t look anyway near like the 60’s or 70’s. I hear Huntington Beach music and see Corky Carroll catching some waves! Send some waves this way.

Tire tracks on the beach! Just like home!
Does this mean you’re headed East and we’ll see you in Arizona? Nice beaches dude…..
