In London, like all cities the world over, graffiti continues to spread like a rash on most every available surface. One approach the city governors have arrived at is to designate this nasty little underground passageway as a legal “Graffiti Zone”. The walls have turned into an everchanging tapestry of art, social commentary, vulgarity and all manner of craziness.

Has it worked? Well, no. Artful vandals still roam the city streets.
Just great !! Some very creative and artistic . Thx. H
Controlled graffiti is a contradiction of ideas or terms. But, you might argue that a lot of art works are placed in that position the minute they are placed on a gallery wall! Still, better on that wall in the tunnel than on my house wall. Hope you guys are well!

Interesting you ended with ‘Does it work? No. I have my doubts that it would. I do love the rolling art gallery on freight trains when I travel by Amtrak.
Some very nice work there though.
